Sports Box is a unit of Galaxy Entertainment Corporation limited which is India’s best known professionally managed entertainment conglomerate setup to provide customers with world class options for leisure and entertainment, which includes Restaurants & Bars, Gaming Zones and Food Courts. The company is headquartered in Mumbai. We currently have 25 Functional units across India which includes 4 Sports Box, 2 Restaurants, 12 Food Courts and 7 Gaming Zones.

SBX is designed and developed with a theme of  “Love and excitement for Sports & Music”. Its a place where you could roll-up your sleeves to unwind and de-stress after a hard day's work.

If you planning to have a corporate party then this is the place to be as they customize according to your convenience and budget. The place is huge and there is a lovely sit out area which faces the city lights and gives you an amazing feel. They also have :

And now my fav part "FOOD & Alcohol" :-) I started off with Magic Johnson Cocktail  and while going thru the menu found it amazing as each an every signature  drink and food is named after a sports person.

With their best you can call it their signature starters for both Veg and Non-Veg. Though they have a wide range of food menu their Tandoori Starters are the best.

We enjoyed the SBX Veg Tandoori Platter and for non-veggies it was JD Buffalo Wings and we enjoyed both. Platter was overall filling as I was done just with few bites from it on the other hand JD Buffalo Wings was cooked to perfection, succulent.

Jhinga Koliwada Mumbai Style

Jhinga Koliwada is another signature dish of the Chef,  its cooked Mumbai style more or less like bhajiya you can say. Goes prefect with your choice of alcohol or mocktails.

Hence after trying out their special tandoori dishes we moved on to Italian and continental dishes. Here is what is said to be people's choice " Chili Cheese Toast " and must say it is definitely light and went prefect with my Long Island Ice Tea.

And there was the savior for the tangdi people.. Chef spl. " Penne Tandoori Tango "

 Followed with which we had the SBX fav " Nachos with Beans " What I found different was the beans used where white beans and not the usual Red beans which itself gave a different.

And finally we tasted the all time classic Margarita .. A simple and taste just like a home made pizza.

Gajar Ka Halwa

The sweet tooth couldn't resist the Gajar ka halwa and with which the night ended at a high note.

My take on this place is .. It's an chilled out place where you can de-stress, chill out and just spend the evening with either your huge funny group or even alone in the sit out area. They also have Ladies night on Wednesdays with unlimited drinks till 10:00 PM. The Food is delicious and yes they are known for their north Indian tandoori khana.. A great place for office parties as they would also customize the menu for you as per your need.
