Sooji ka Halwa
Navrathra Special, We preform the puja and then distribute the halwa in the devotees present in the temple. One of the quick dessert that you can make which is in itself so tasty.
For Halwa:
- 1 cup Sooji/semolina
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup ghee
- 2-3 green cardomoms
- Raisins (kishmish)
Method:
- Heat the ghee in a pot and add the cardamoms in it . The flame should be medium , now add sooji and keep on stirring till the color changes .
- Add water to the sooji on very slow flame and immediately mix, then add sugar and mix it well.
- Add kishmish or any other dry fruits which you like and cover the lid .
- Take off from heat after 5 minute.
- Garnish it with Chopped Almonds.
